Methodology

Michael's Activate methodology guides his consulting practice. It contains a number of gateways through which the solution must pass, with review and sign-off points built in to guarantee quality. This approach is industry and content agnostic in that it can be applied to any client situation and subject matter area. Click the tabs below to find out more.

1. Establish

The purpose of this stage is to establish the project and confirm key parameters including roles, objectives, standards, deliverables, timeframes, evaluation methods, and outcomes. This generally involves an initial meeting of up to 60 minutes with key stakeholders. These parameters are then confirmed in a Project Establishment Brief.

Note: The first two stages are generally completed and clients provided with an Analysis and Design Report (which details the recommended solution) for review and sign-off prior to committing to subsequent stages. The time required to complete each stage will vary according to the scope, scale, and complexity of the project.
